Position Description

We currently have an opportunity for an Account Manager in our Commercial Risk Department.  This position is responsible for providing exceptional service and support of current and prospective clients, carriers, team members and Advisors.  

Additional duties may include:

  • Provide excellence in customer service to existing and prospective client base as well as internal staff.
  • Review client coverage levels and policies to ensure they meet agency standards and those of the companies represented; recommend changes as needed.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, binders, endorsements and coverage summaries to provide exceptional care to customers.
  • Prepare and submit new business and/or account renewals to carrier marketplace according to established procedures.
  • Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verify their accuracy; provide documentation to client with appropriate correspondence.
  • Provide technical support to Advisors to include cross-selling and upgrading opportunities.
  • Perform general office duties including answering phones, making copies, preparing faxes etc.
  • Follow through on all inquiries, requests and submissions to ensure timely receipt and response.
  • Maintain and update activity records in agency management system according to current process and procedure (including requesting plan documents from carriers & imaging into database).
  • Perform additional duties as requested by Advisor, management or team members.

Position Skills and Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent college coursework in business or a related field is preferred.  Two plus years of experience in insurance or related field required.  Experience in insurance industry in an Account Manager role is preferred.  Must possess or be actively engaged in pursuing the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation within first 12 months of employment.  Missouri Property & Casualty Producer License is required.

This position requires strong communication skills, ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a paperless environment.

Position Description

We currently have an opportunity for an Advisor in our Commercial Risk department.  This position provides insurance and risk management solutions to clients and prospects to proactively meet and exceed client needs.  The role involves sales through an established marketing process requiring development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, prospects and carriers. 

Additional duties of the Advisor include serving as a goodwill ambassador in the community, identifying latest trends in the insurance marketplace, and assessing appropriate plans best suited for the specific needs of prospects and clients.  The position identifies viable prospects, develops strategic sales and action plan, and utilizes cold-calling techniques to increase sales consistent with agency mission and vision.  The Advisor advises clients and prospects on products and services, provides excellence in customer service, and conducts sales presentations and education meetings. In addition, the position assesses the client risk situation, communicates renewal calculations and utilization information, and makes policy placement decisions based on the needs of the client, agency and carriers represented.

Requirements

Three or more years of sales experience and insurance industry certifications are preferred.  A Missouri Producer Insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of employment.  A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is also required.

Position Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Coordinator.  The Sales Coordinator serves as a key operational and strategic support role within Ollis/Akers/Arney’s growth engine. This position supports agency Advisors, sales leadership, and client-facing teams by creating structure, accountability, and consistency throughout the sales process.

This role is designed to increase Advisor selling capacity, strengthen pipeline visibility, improve prospect and client experience, and support the consistent delivery of the agency’s proprietary business model, Ollis Edge 360. The Sales Coordinator acts as the connective point between sales activity, client discovery, proposal development, onboarding, and ongoing business development initiatives.

Additional duties may include:

Sales Pipeline Monitoring and Growth

  • Maintain accurate CRM records including, pipeline stages, next steps, follow-up commitments, and stalled opportunities.
  • Work closely with New Business Marketing Manager to forecast workflow based on CRM pipeline.
  • Manage Advisor access, onboarding, termination, and best-practice training for sales technology platforms, including Freshsales, Ennabl, Zywave, and ChatGPT.
  • Partner with Marketing to create Ideal Client Campaigns through email, events, in person meetings, etc.
  • Manage lead generation process and Advisor distribution to ensure timely response and routing.
  • Coordinate follow-up workflows tied to marketing campaigns, events, referral sources, and centers of influence.
  • Track referral and testimonial opportunities and source attribution to provider to marketing.
  • Support event, networking, sponsorship, and business development logistics.


Advisor Support & Sales Preparation

  • Meet with Advisors regularly to identify barriers to new-business activity and recommend processes, tools, or resources that improve results.
  • Prepare Ollis standard materials for prospect meetings, renewal strategy discussions, stewardship meetings, and executive presentations.
  • Support discovery preparation, account research, pre-call planning, opportunity documentation, and other coordination that allows Advisors to focus on high-value selling activities.
  • Develop and maintain competitive analysis cards for sales team on top competitor SWOT.
  • Streamline the RFQ, flyer, event coordination processes for high impact – low friction outcomes.
  • Coordinate sales training with the Chief Sales Officer, including technical insurance, Ollis Edge 360, professional development, internal processes, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop messaging and materials that support the sales process.
  • Support and track the preparation, coordination, and delivery of Ollis Edge 360 process and materials throughout the client lifecycle.

Client Onboarding and Implementation

  • Coordinate the new client onboarding process after a prospect becomes a client.
  • Ensure required documentation, applications, agreements, timelines, and internal handoffs are completed.
  • Support a smooth transition from sales to service while reinforcing the client experience promised during the sales process.
  • Help ensure early client interactions reinforce confidence, professionalism, and clarity.

Sales Analytics & Leadership Reporting

  • Produce weekly and monthly pipeline reports, dashboards, scorecards, and sales-meeting materials for Advisors and leadership.
  • Track key performance indicators, including opportunities, booked revenue, close ratios, Advisor activity, lead and referral sources, pipeline velocity, proposal volume, forecasted revenue, and onboarding completion.
  • Analyze trends, bottlenecks, Advisor capacity, pipeline health, and opportunity quality to identify opportunities for stronger sales execution.
  • Partner with the New Business Marketer to confirm that Advisors book accounts in accordance with agency guidelines.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Chief Sales Officer.Schedule and lead meetings for Senior Products team.
  • Ensure employees have appropriate training, licensing and certifications, and other resources to perform their jobs.
  • Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures; responsible for suggesting methods to improve operations, efficiency, and service to both internal and external clients.
  • Provide statistical and performance feedback to management on each employee.
  • Create and maintain a high-quality work environment so team members are motivated to perform at their highest level.
  • Keep management apprised of any employee relations issues expressed by team members.
  • Approve timesheets, coordinate time off and distribute workload as appropriate to ensure coverage and adequate support for clients
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Skills and Requirements:

3+ years of experience in sales support, insurance operations, agency administration, account management, revenue operations, or project coordination.  Experience working in an insurance industry preferred. 

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of the Insurance industry along with the ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports, data and all communication.  The ideal candidate must also have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environment with frequent interruptions.

Position Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant. This position oversees complex accounting tasks, ensures accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, plays a key role in a company’s financial operations contributing to managing payroll, analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and providing financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Additional duties may include:

Assists the Controller in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

May prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, commission statements, and profit and loss statements.

Ensures compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.

Supports annual audits and tax filings.

Performs financial reconciliations and variance analysis.

Perform ledger, commission statement and other audits.

Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements.

Assists in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.

Manages the accuracy and productivity of the day-to-day activities of the accounts payable function including payments, vendor invoice entries, employee expense reports etc.

Oversee the accuracy and timely management of the accounts receivable process including billings, cash receipts, and aging components.

Assists Controller in the management of payroll, tax reporting, and W-2 preparation in collaboration with third-party vendor.

Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

Perform additional related duties as requested by Controller or management team.

Requirements

Position Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. 3-5 years in an accountant role preferred. Experience in insurance industry helpful.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, high level of detail orientation in interpreting financial statements and other financial reports, and the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage daily activities to ensure timely and accurate results.
