1. How do you think being in an ESOP can affect work culture?
I think it affects work culture by giving me the sense that my input really does matter and that increases my performance by wanting to do well to provide not only for our clients but my coworker’s as well. The commitment I have to this company is something that is not going to change anytime soon.
2. How does being in an ESOP affect you, personally, in your workday?
It makes me do my very best to succeed and make sure our clients are properly covered. I know that if I do a good job and take care of our clients, I have the potential to bring in even more just by word of mouth and how great we are to work with and that we truly care about everyone’s wellbeing. It means a lot to me when clients tell me how much I am appreciated.
3. How would you explain an ESOP to a friend who does not know what it is about?
When I get asked what an ESOP is I basically just say it means all of our employees are owners and we have a part in what goes on in our organization, we still have management teams that help keep the day to day running but we all have the same ownership type benefits and those benefits alone speak volume’s, especially every year when we get our ESOP statements and see how much we will eventually obtain at retirement on top of all our benefits provided to us.
