1. What do you like most about your role?
I really enjoy helping people in general, and in Claims, that can be in many different ways. Nothing makes me happier than to help resolve a troublesome claim for a client, or to be a listening ear for a frustrating situation. Knowing I am building report with my clients and being an avenue of experience and knowledge is empowering and makes me love my job even more!
2. How do you think being in an ESOP affects work culture?
I think it changes the atmosphere into one of teamwork. It’s not everyone working for one person, it’s everyone working with each other and for each other, to make us the strongest organization there can be. The feeling of close teamwork is not easily found at other work places.
3. What is something you would share with a friend about working in an ESOP?
It really makes a difference in the workplace culture, one of positivity and working together, as well as an awesome perk to see my account statement grow every year! To know that an ESOP is not common, especially in our area, makes it feel even more special.
4. What is your favorite thing about Christmas Season?
I am like Buddy the Elf when it comes to Christmas – I LOVE IT!! When I was younger, I would start a countdown to Christmas, starting at 150 days! I love the ambience of the lights, the decorations, the chilly weather, the family gatherings, the music, and the warm cheer!
