1. What do you like most about your role?
Ultimately, helping people. Whether it’s at the employer or employee level, our goal is to make the group benefits process as easy to understand and navigate as possible.
2. How do you think being in an ESOP affects work culture?
The culture here is one of unity; there are no individual agendas. We all have an impact on the direction and success of our organization, which is a big responsibility with, potentially, great reward.
3. What is something new you have learned about the ESOP this year?
During the last SOA, we discussed the various aspects of the valuation process and how not all ESOPs are created equal.
4. What is your favorite thing about fall?
The short period of time (usually about 3 days) where the temperature is not too hot, not too cold, low humidity, and beautiful colors.
