1. What do you like most about your role?
I love having a mix of both retention and sales. Some days allow for me to be in the office, while others I am out in front of clients and prospects. Having the combination fits my personality. I have a great group of clients right now who I enjoy working with; many friendships have been developed. We also have a fantastic internal support team, which makes my life easier. I have had it the other way😂
2. How do you think being in an ESOP affects work culture?
I firmly believe that it requires all our employees to think and act like owners. Every client or prospect touch can impact our bottom line; whether positive or negative. To me, employee owner is a prestigious title, one to be proud of when out in the community.
3. What is the thing you appreciate most about being in an ESOP?
I appreciate the opportunity of ownership. Upon retirement, it will be a good chunk of money that I never had to put one dime towards. In addition to this, I like the information we receive on our company, financials, and performance; management is always transparent, so we know exactly what is happening.
4. What is one of your favorite local Springfield restaurants that you would recommend?
So, I really have three😊 Metropolitan Grill, Nicolas and Maso. All are fabulous, with great local ownership. I stick to locally owned, even when we travel, no chain establishments.
