With over 20 years of experience in workforce development, education, and business consulting, Sherry brings a deep commitment to empowering individuals and organizations through strategic innovation and community engagement.
She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drury University.
Her career has been shaped by nearly two decades at Ozarks Technical Community College, where she most recently served as Executive Director of Workforce and Short-Term Training. She continues to serve as an adjunct instructor in the Business Department, helping to prepare the next generation of leaders. In August 2023, she launched Coker Consulting, LLC, where she focused on providing tailored business solutions and workforce strategies.
Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to advancing technology, leadership, and economic development in the region. She is proud to serve as Co-Founder and Board Member of the Springfield Tech Council, and actively contributes to several professional organizations, including the Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation and the American Heart Association Go Red for Women, where she is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
