Amy brings more than 20 years of professional experience spanning human resources, finance, administration, training, and education. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University and her Master of Organizational Leadership from Evangel University. She is currently working toward her SHRM-SCP certification.
Amy spent seven and a half years in direct human resources roles at Evangel University, most recently serving as a Human Resources Generalist from 2019–2026. Her experience also includes teaching undergraduate finance as an adjunct instructor, as well as previous roles in contributions coordination and accounts receivable billing. This diverse background gives her a well-rounded perspective and a strong understanding of both people and business.
Amy is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Springfield Area Human Resource Association, where she serves on the Workforce Readiness Committee.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons and daughter. She especially loves supporting her children in their academic and athletic pursuits, including football and volleyball. She also enjoys serving at her local church, traveling, and spending relaxing days at the lake.
