1. How does being in an ESOP affect your daily work?
Knowing it is all a team effort. Knowing together we are better. I contribute to the success of the company. It gives accountability each day and a responsibility to the Company and my co-workers.
2. What is something you did not know about an ESOP until being in one?
I did not know it gives me ownership interest in the company. I had not heard of ESOP before working for Ollis/Akers/Arney. It was all new to me. I am very fortunate to be part of a company that has this great addition.
3. What is something you would tell a friend about working for an ESOP company?
I love that an ESOP gives me an additional retirement plan. Not that many people have the opportunity. I am thankful! I am already fully vested and excited for the future of retirement.
