1. What does being part of an ESOP mean to you?
“Being part of an ESOP is very important to me. It is a financial security knowing that I will eventually be able to benefit from the success of our company and what we all do every day. I will be able to retire, travel, and fulfil many more dreams I have.”
2. How does being in an ESOP affect your daily work?
“Being an ESOP member makes me take my job more seriously. I am more productive, and it gives me a security that I am not just a number behind a desk. I am 33, I can only dream of what my ESOP statement will look like in 15, 25, 30 years! I am so excited to see. It is motivation to keep doing good work. “
3. What is something you did not know about an ESOP until being in one?
“I honestly did not know much about ESOP at all before TPLA / OAA merged. I had heard the term thrown around but never had a good understanding of one, I thought it was just a retirement plan. It is SO much more than just a retirement plan. All I can say is we are all very lucky to work for a company that cares for all of us as employees and our futures as much as Ollis/Akers/Arney cares for their employees. “
